New Year-New Everything?

2011 is nearly here and I am starting to hear traditional talk and grumblings regarding New Year “Resolutions.” I will admit I have a bold losing streak when it comes to this topic, which got me looking myself and what I want to change in 2011.
In the past year we have relocated to another state, I have changed job and professions, lived with my in-laws, sold and bought a house, my wife graduated with her second degree, and we are now expecting our first born. 2010 was a crazy year and contained as much stress and joy. This has led to my wife and me to truly value the time we get to spend together.
We have found personal time and enjoyment on our bikes and in a bottle of wine. (Until pregnancy of course) Our midsummer rides with Brandon Umphrey and wife Steph often topped 40 miles and concluded with a bottle of wine on the patio. A particular favorite of ours is “Santa Margarita, Pinot Grigio 2009. This wine is clean, dry with bit of apple on the back end. I will admit this is on the high end of our ideal price range, but just hard to beat.
Hope you enjoy, Cheers!

  1. Oh how I wish it was warm and we could finish a ride and enjoy some wine.
